According to a Winnipeg Free Press Article (read it here) Tony Clement allegedly (and laughably) demanded an apology from New Democrat Party (NDP) member Charlie Angus, for allegedly (yes, that's a lot of allegations, but let's face it, you can't trust anything you read in the press anymore) accusing him of doctoring (ie altering) the official (Hansard) record of his testimony on a G8 legacy fund.
Assuming this to be true, why is this laughable?
Two reasons.
First, Mr. Clement needs to grow up. Modern politics amounts to nothing more than baseless, mud-slinging accusations, based on half-fact and half-fantasy. Politics is a children's playground, and he should readily expect all politicians to act like mentally retarded children (which they almost inevitably do).
It's not like politicians ever actually do anything important (if they did, they would be cranking out legislation at a much slower, and more thought out pace (like they are supposed to), instead of the moronic legislation they crank out at a neck-breaking pace (that modern media and morons desire)).
Second, and this is even more important - apologies and corrections of lies are important to Parliament only when liberals, lefties, and communists demand them. The politically emasculated right wing almost always inevitably caves in and apologizes, even when such apologies not only are not warranted, but to the contrary, public executions are warranted. The left never apologizes - warranted or not.
Mr. Clement - let's be blunt - don't hold your breath for an apology, and don't waste (our) money on lawyers. Your apology will never come, because this is exactly how liberals conduct themselves. So please, stop wasting our tax dollars, and just ignore the defamation of the political left.
Defamation is the only tool the political left has. If you haven't figured that out by now, well, perhaps you ought to rethink your career choice.
Discussion of all that goes on in the world of Canadian politics at all levels, and other happenings in the news.

This Must Be Killing The CBC
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), reported on its web site on November 22, that the Auditor General found "disturbing flaws" in Canada's immigration system, particularly with respect to VISA (a seal indicating a visitor's intention to stay abroad) issuance.
The Auditor General's findings are interesting, but what is more interesting is the terrible rectal pain the CBC is being caused by having to admit, to its great distaste, that in the Auditor General's eyes the present Conservative Government deserves a "passing grade".
It goes without saying the CBC would never suggest the Conservatives are doing a good job. It's already painful enough for them to realize conservatism is superior to liberalism, and while conservatism is always worthy of a "pass", liberalism is always worthy of a "fail".
Here's a sample of what the CBC had to distastefully report:
"The report overall gives a passing grade to the Conservative government on how it tracked spending for three of the programs under its $47-billion Economic Action Plan introduced in 2009 but said it's not clear how the government is going to determine the effectiveness of one of them."
Two out of three isn't bad for any Government, when you historically have a track record of zero out of three for monitoring anything (especially spending and determining spending effectiveness).
""For the three specific programs we audited, the government was diligent in monitoring the progress of projects and their spending," Wiersema said in a statement. "It also took corrective action as required to ensure projects were completed as intended.""
Conservatives diligent? Liberals must be having epileptic fits. Corrective action? Completing projects on time? How will liberals ever get back into power?
Of course, the CBC could not let this go unchallenged. So, they decided to manufacture some "news" of their own.
"His audit did not include an analysis of whether the projects funded were worthy of the cash, only if the money was properly tracked by the departments spending it."
Interestingly, the CBC fails to report that the Auditor General's report also did not include an analysis of whether satellite television has any correlation with a need for public parks, and whether there is a direct tie between liberalism and mental retardation.
"The Conservatives have touted the EAP as a successful program that created jobs, but Wiersema's report says data was collected in a number of ways by various departments, making it difficult for the government to assess how well its goals were achieved."
Aren't liberals always complaining that one size does not fit all, and hence we must have uniquely tailored solutions for every single thing we do in life? Isn't that why so many of our University students suffer from mental retardation? Yet, if that (individualized solutions) doesn't benefit them, then all of a sudden it's bad? Since when is Government supposed to have an easy job?
Thankfully, the Auditor General did throw the CBC a bone, in that he did essentially fail the Canada Border Services Agency and Citizenship and Immigration Canada. You see, immigration is allowed to work only if benevolent liberals let people into the country (without qualification, screening, or criteria).
What's really funny about the Citizenship and Immigration Canada criticism is, the CBC (likely unknowingly) reports that "Wiersema said many of these problems have been identified by previous audits and the department has committed to fixing them, but they haven't followed through on those promises.". In other words, this was a problem festering through previous (read :Liberal) Governments.
The CBC's reporting of this last part is what's called a Random Act Of Journalism.
Of course, the CBC mantra is plain and simple - if there's no bad news, make it up (unless it's about our guys, in which case bury it). If there's good news, report it (unless it's not about our guys, in which case bury it).

Washington's Subtle Corruption
This past week, the CBS television show 60 Minutes did a fantastic expose on Washington's corrupt culture.
While normally we have to take any corruption piece from the mainstream media with a metric tonne of salt, surprisingly, 60 Minutes did a fairly even piece. They exposed questionable behaviour of Republicans, and amazingly, Democrats.
After watching this piece, one has to ask, how much of this goes on in Canada? Well, like all other things, Canadians are a little more subtle. But don't be fooled. It's here too.

Justin Trudeau Said What?
On November 3, 2011, the Peterborough Examiner reported "Trudeau suggested that people could be able to vote at bank machines
in banks as a way to increase voter turnout and encouraged young people
connect with their world. "Go out and occupy something…. Get
involved in creating a protest group. Start up a letter writing
campaign," Trudeau said in an interview on Ottawa's CFRA.".
Either the mainstream media is really falling out of love with liberals, or the Peterborough Examiner committed an act of journalism.
And by the way, want to increase voter turnout? How about running a candidate with conservative values for a change? That just might explain the voter turnout difference between Tim Hudak, a sadsack liberal, and Rob Ford, an unapologetic conservative.
Assuming the Examiner has truthfully and accurately reported Trudeau's comments, one must ask Mr. Trudeau the following questions:
1. Do you want our young people to protest, and "occupy" something like our big evil banks, that make record profits every year? Are they really going to go and vote in our big evil banks? Isn't it more likely they will defecate in, and burn down, our big evil banks, where you want them to vote?
2. Do you really think telling kids to protest and complain, rather than be thankful for what they have, is a good and positive message?
3. Do you want kids to protest only when Conservatives are in power, or do you encourage social unrest for when Liberals are in power too?
4. Do you think a good and constructive leader encourages people to protest their country, government, citizens, and success stories?
Do we really have to go further, to understand how the political left thinks? Their entire philosophy amounts to - If I don't get my own way, it must be unfair and therefore I must throw and break furniture, and have an ultra hissy-fit.
Great job Justin Trudeau. A true Canadian. Keep it up.

Herman Cain Freaks Out Liberals With A Notion Of Personal Liberty
Herman Cain, candidate for the United States Presidency, has sent liberals atwitter.
By a liberal's definition, Herman Cain is a traitor to blacks. Herman Cain is heterosexual, conservative, successful, and unafraid of liberals. In any liberal's book, that makes him a traitor.
What did Herman Cain do, that in the view of these liberals, is bound to destroy the United States?
He let a white male heterosexual endorse him, in his own words. Oh yes, he also let him smoke in a video. Why does this enrage liberals?
There are many reasons, but here are a few.
First, liberals are hypocrites who like to smoke, but don't like other people smoking (especially conservatives).
Second, liberals subscribe to a basic mentality - "I don't like it, therefore everyone else must be prohibited from enjoying it". That second reason gives rise to many great liberal notions like banning light bulbs, banning pit bulls, but ensuring outrageous displays of homosexual-simulated intercourse (ie the "Pride Parade") on public streets.
There are more reasons, but these two alone suffice.
See Cain's ad and judge for yourself. Is Herman Cain a radical because he allows a man to be free to do as he pleases, and assumes parents will rear their own children accordingly?
Bless Herman Cain. May he become the United States' first black president.

Federal Government Panders To Quebec (Again)
Last week, as Israelis celebrated Gilad Shalit's return to Israel, and liberals and Palestinians celebrated the release of thousands of murderers and a chance to kill more Jews in the near future, The Globe And Mail reported in its headline for October 19, 2011, "Ontario, B.C. to lose on seat redistribution".
In summary, Prime Minister Harper had vowed previously to re-examine parliamentary seat distribution and correct representation to account for population changes in each province.
Not surprisingly, Quebec immediately stepped up to the plate, and complained that [any] redistribution that resulted in Quebec somehow losing any kind of representation (be it raw number of seats of percentage) would be problematic.
Of course, this is not surprising for a province whose only contribution to humanity is corruption, laziness, unemployment, drunkenness, liberalism, entitlement, and hot women. Did we mention laziness?
Equally unsurprising (yet somehow amounting to "news" by The Globe And Mail's standard), Prime Minister Harper kowtowed to Quebec faster than Bill Clinton finishing off a White House Intern. After all, when was the last time any Canadian can recall the Federal Government kowtowing to Quebec, for anything?
The net result of course will be that Quebec will still control (yes, control) almost 1/4 of the Federal Government, regardless the fact that it is only one of ten provinces, and definitely not 1/4 of the population of Canada.
Why?
Let's just say that in any family, when you live with a spoiled mentally retarded crack addicted prostitute, you have to make sacrifices now and then. Prime Minister Harper, a liberal at heart, is proving he's capable of making any sacrifice required for re-election.
It's a good things Canadian elected a party with principles. Mother McGuinty would be proud.

Military Watches "Native" Groups
In what is likely a bid to raise a future federal election issue for floundering Liberals, liberal mouthpiece The Globe And Mail reported on its front page on October 13, 2011, that the Department Of National Defence admits its intelligence group assembled at least eight reports on "native" organization activities between January 2010 and July 2011. The Globe And Mail further adds that when told of these documents, "one aboriginal leader" said "the thought of the military keeping tabs on natives was "chilling"".
While one can hope this "leader" went on further to say that such observation was understandable, reasonable, expected, acceptable, and sensible, it's unlikely given The Globe And Mail attributes no other quote to this "leader".
Undoubtedly, liberals are enraged to learn our military watches "native" groups. One supposes they should be.
After all, it's not like "native" groups have ever done anything like take over provincial lands, bearing guns, only to threaten the local populace. It's not like they've ever hijacked an entire city, only to destroy it, its citizens, the city's taxable base, and its future. Just ask Julian Fantino about his superior policing in Caledonia that prevented all that.
As every liberal will tell you, "natives" never get drunk, stoned, or violent. They are all peaceful, earth loving human beings, who are incredibly tolerant, especially of white Christian males. They openly welcome people onto their tax-free reserves, never look for Government grants or handouts, and are entrepreneurial and independent. Our booming "dream catcher" market is a mere testament to that.
The Globe And Mail should rest easy. This is Canada. Canadians fully support our Government not watching any internal groups, and certainly not any group that might have the slightest propensity toward violence. It's not like the bombers of Air India Flight 182 lived in Canada. It's not like Islamic terrorists live in the United States. All Canadians are outraged, and the federal Liberals need to market this for their next election.
Besides, like true Canadians, the military has already set up a pre-emptive apology, as The Globe And Mail noted: "The Department of National Defence denies it obtained the intelligence itself, and says the information, which cites confidential sources with apparent inside knowledge of native groups, came from other government agencies.". Nothing like being afraid of those from whom you are supposed to protect us. Great job Canada!

Welcome Protesters To Bay Street
We are told it is inevitable that the masses of students, unions, unemployed, class-warfare mongering liberals will come to Bay Street. We should welcome them with open arms. Why?
To start, we know Toronto Police will give them a silver tea set reception. They will be allowed to burn cars, smash windows, and generally assail law abiding tax payers, all without repercussion. After an orgy of pillaging and burning, primary instigators will leave the downtown core, leaving lawful peaceful protesters, ashamed of their connection to the more lunatic fringe (that last part is difficult since almost all liberals are in the lunatic fringe).
The next day, police will respond appropriately by beating and gassing law abiding citizens minding their own business (you know, taxpayers and what-not). Basically, conservatives will get beaten up while liberals walk off free and clear.
This will then be followed by numerous talking heads interviewing the professional instigators (liberals) about their thoughts on the protest. Liberals will wildly assail police (hard to believe since their unionized brethren will allow them to burn cars and smash windows) as being racist, sexist, and homophobic. They will then blame conservatives, and especially Mike Harris, along with odd references to George Bush and 9/11 conspiracy theories. They will of course praise Obama and Biden for their "support".
Thereafter, "conservatives" like Tim Hudak and Prime Minister Harper, when asked to comment, will offer poetic words such as "now is the time to set aside our ideology ...", "I'm deeply ashamed of what I witnessed ...", and "this is what happens when you let people like Rush Limbaugh on the air ...". Of course, there will never be any proof or evidence offered that the (inevitable) riots were caused by conservatives (who by the way were busy going to work, paying taxes, or spending time with their family and kids). It's just that conservatives will be blamed for inspiring these events in an atmosphere of "hate", "intolerance", and "corporate greed".
Thankfully, no-one will subject any of these protesters to the warm breeze that is logic. Welcome kooks - let the looting, pillaging, and burning begin.

Why We Need Unions
Times must be tough if the Toronto Star is willing to turn on its greatest lovers - public school teachers and their union.
On Sunday October 2, the Toronto Star reported on its front page that a 40-year old married Toronto-based teacher, after being suspended for allegedly sending sexually explicit text messages to his female students and "spooning" (ie laying in a bed next to them in close contact, back to front) them on a bed in a motel room during a school trip, is now allowed to teach again.
The teacher is considered rehabilitated, in part because he took a course approved by the teacher's union and Toronto District School Board, on how to act appropriately.
Thank goodness, and this is why we need unions.
Had this poor fellow (yes, he is the victim here) been fool-hardy enough to work in the (lower paying, no job security, performance-based and merit-earned) private sector (and assuming all allegations to be true), he surely would have been fired without recourse.
Alas, he would have been unemployed, and had to face hardship.
But thankfully in Ontario, we don't let crazy things like that happen.
Where would our children be then? Young impressionable teenage women need more involvement with older married men, and thankfully our nation's unions are there to make sure it happens.
Fathers - unleash your daughters in the skimpiest of school uniforms for now they have guidance in a liberal bastion of underachievement. This is your clarion call.
It's a good thing no right wing fringe lunatic racist tea party crack pot conservative is in charge. Can you imagine? This man might have lost his job, his security, and his feeling of self-worth, all of which he has an unrestricted entitlement to.
Daughters rest easy. He's back, and he's there for you. Send him a text - he'll appreciate it.
If the allegations are not true, this teacher had better dump this union, because then they are not doing a very good job of defending his reputation and livelihood.
Ontario. Yours To Discover.

Ontarians ... last!
While Mr. Hudak was busy failing to inspire, lead, or do anything radically "tea-party" like (such as lowering taxes or decreasing the size of government), Mother McGuinty came up from the rear (as liberals love to do) and released his new butt-kicking platform.
Inspired by Hudak's flailing in the wind, dear Mother has announced that Ontario businesses are eligible for a tax credit of ten thousand dollars if they hire a new immigrant. As opposed to someone already here.
Why do liberals hate us and themselves so much that they insist on putting us last for everything? Does it make sense to punish your tax paying base by encouraging more people to enter your province to compete for even fewer jobs?
It does make sense if your base is unemployed, non-tax paying, socio-economically depressed people. And if that is your base, doesn't it make sense to keep your base unemployed, non-tax paying, and socio-economically depressed?
By the way, does he mean new Canadian immigrant (in which case, immigration policy and inducement is the sole purview of the Federal Government), or Ontario immigrant (in which case Quebecers can take our jobs)?
All the same, all I ask is that, as a tax payer, someone please explain why we should recruit more people from outside, when there are not enough jobs for people on the inside?
I'll get back to my tea party now.

Why Elect Hudak?
This blog discusses all that goes on in the world of Canadian politics at all levels, and other happenings in the news.
Today Tim Hudak was speaking on AM640 to John Oakley.
Why Mr. Hudak should be Premier of Ontario I'll never know.
It's not that Dalton McGuinty deserves to be Premier. His failure in Caledonia to out shove "native" thugs and bullies proves that. To be fair, John Tory would have done the exact same thing - nothing. It does no good to fine a drunken thug who has no job, and nowhere better to be than jail.
Back to Mr. Hudak though. He doesn't strike me as a better choice.
His platform seems to be "Elect me because I'll spend your money better than the other guy, and Andrea doesn't have a prayer regardless that she rides on Saint Jack".
If we want continuous spending, unaccountable fat government, and lack-lustre castrated leadership, why don't we just re-elect McGuinty? At least then we can ban the incandescent light bulb and get back to Family Day.
Have you seen Mr. Hudak's (secret right wing) plan to end Caledonia? Ah yes, no-one has asked him for a straight answer on Caledonia (will you direct the police to enforce an existing court order to remove Caledonia protestors with force if necessary? - yes or no - no posturing please). Instead, he's been Fantino-ized (given a pass).
Relax, McGuinty will never stand up in Calendonia either. Besides, voters are too dumb and lazy to care.
How about getting rid of public sector unions? That's not going to happen under Hudak. Reigning in teachers? Opening provincial medicine to competition? Opening liquor sales to competition? Repealing HST in its entirety? Limiting provincial government action to only that prescribed by the Constitution of Canada?
I know you should never say never. But. Never.
Never.
By the way, HST reduced utility bill? Big deal - it was a tax on top of a tax anyway. It's peanuts - keep it.
If we have a choice between a real liberal, and one who calls himself a conservative yet seems suspiciously similar to a liberal, why don't we just take the real deal? That's what the United States did with Hussain Obama and John McCain (okay, the race card was also played, but still ...). Mr. McCain walked across the aisle so much he was the envy of every bride wanna-be.
We're only one stop short of both Hudak and McGuinty coming out with a proclamation that Saint Jack's dying wish was that we all unite and elect a Hudak-McGuinty Euro-coalition, so we can be more like Europe. After all, Greece, Portugal, Italy and Spain really have their stuff together - just look at their booming economy.
After relishing in election victory, we can legislate a long weekend to celebrate cultural cuisine ethnicity preservation gluten free vegetarian halal day, as a day when we ask Ontarians to stop being so racist toward food because it violates our human rights and international law.
God bless Ontario.
