Justin Trudeau Said What?

On November 3, 2011, the Peterborough Examiner reported "Trudeau suggested that people could be able to vote at bank machines in banks as a way to increase voter turnout and encouraged young people connect with their world.  "Go out and occupy something…. Get involved in creating a protest group. Start up a letter writing campaign," Trudeau said in an interview on Ottawa's CFRA.".

Either the mainstream media is really falling out of love with liberals, or the Peterborough Examiner committed an act of journalism.

And by the way, want to increase voter turnout?  How about running a candidate with conservative values for a change?  That just might explain the voter turnout difference between Tim Hudak, a sadsack liberal, and Rob Ford, an unapologetic conservative.

Assuming the Examiner has truthfully and accurately reported Trudeau's comments, one must ask Mr. Trudeau the following questions:

1. Do you want our young people to protest, and "occupy" something like our big evil banks, that make record profits every year?  Are they really going to go and vote in our big evil banks?  Isn't it more likely they will defecate in, and burn down, our big evil banks, where you want them to vote?

2.  Do you really think telling kids to protest and complain, rather than be thankful for what they have, is a good and positive message?

3.  Do you want kids to protest only when Conservatives are in power, or do you encourage social unrest for when Liberals are in power too?

4.  Do you think a good and constructive leader encourages people to protest their country, government, citizens, and success stories?

Do we really have to go further, to understand how the political left thinks?  Their entire philosophy amounts to - If I don't get my own way, it must be unfair and therefore I must throw and break furniture, and have an ultra hissy-fit.

Great job Justin Trudeau.  A true Canadian.  Keep it up.
